Summary
Marianne LeBlanc, the daughter of a Count, has never once experienced love in real life. Yet, she hides a secret talent: writing romance novels. One day, she comes across a reader’s harsh critique: “This story is boring, filled with clichés, and doesn’t feel real at all.” Shocked but determined, Marianne resolves to create a romance that feels truly authentic. To do so, she sneaks into a scandalous masquerade ball notorious for its indecency.
But at the ball, things take an unexpected turn—she falls under a strange spell that sets her body ablaze with uncontrollable heat. Even more astonishing, the man she nearly stumbles into trouble with is none other than Crown Prince Lucius. And after an accidental kiss, the magic transfers to him as well. Now, there are only two ways to break the spell: wait for it to slowly fade through small, repeated touches, or… end it all at once through a deeper, more intimate union.
